Our story
Max was born inside Appmax, a payments technology company founded in Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil, in 2018, headquartered at Instituto Caldeira. For years, Appmax helped online stores all over Brazil sell more and approve more payments. In 2025, it brought that know-how to people who sell every day, offline: that is how Max was born, a digital account that works in the app and on WhatsApp, with artificial intelligence to make everyday money simpler. Now Max also turns your phone into a card machine, so people who sell on the street, at the market or at the customer's home never lose a card sale again.
